Billy Gardell Announces 2012 U.S. Tour Dates  :
Los Angeles, May 13 - Billy Gardell has announced that he will embark on a comedy tour in June. The comedian is still awaiting the future of the show “Mike & Molly.”
The Billy Gardell tour will be in the United States and Billy Gardell announced that the comedy tour is meant to promote his DVD which is titled 'Halftime'. The funnyman believes that the title of the DVD which will be the same for the stand-up tour is true reflection of the stage that he has reached in his life. He explained that at the age of 41 years, he is at the middle stage of his life. He joked that his life is much more serious now calling the “first half” of his life “sloppy.”
He admitted that, “When I was younger I was crazy. Then you go from, ‘Yeah, I’ll do another shot’ to ‘How much sodium is in that?”
Billy Gardell still has his eyes set on his CBS comedy show “Mike & Molly.” He said he hopes that the network will renew the program for another year. The show also stars Melissa McCarthy who plays his love interest.

Billy Gardell announces more tour dates (United Palace included) for 2012 :
Billy Gardell plans a working summer, regardless of whether his sitcom "Mike & Molly" returns for a second year.

The comedian starts a national standup tour with tour dates and concerts staring in June 2012 titled 'Halftime', in support of his DVD of the same name.

The 41-year-old comedian said the title refers to the fact he's about midway through life. It was a "sloppy first half," he jokes, but now he's a father and has settled down.

His boy is proving a big influence on his work.

"My son is 7. A lot of material comes from hanging out with him. He and I are on the same intellectual level," he joked.

His comedy tour will take him to play theaters in Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio and other states. Billy Gardell stars with Melissa McCarthy in "Mike & Molly" as a couple who found love at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.

Billy Gardell said he has a "good feeling" CBS will renew "Mike & Molly" when the network announces its fall schedule next week.
